Need help caring and maintaining a healthy lawn?

Keeping lawns lush and healthy requires regular mowing, edging, hedge trimming, mulching, pruning, seeding and fertilizing. If you don’t have the time or the desire to spend your weekends working in the yard, let our team take care of all of this for you. In addition, if you have an irrigation system we offer services from start ups in the spring to blowouts in the fall.  Green Lawn offers first class and high quality services in a timely manner and on your budget.

IRRIGATION

Proper watering of trees, shrubs, and grass can go a long way to a healthy yard. As part of our start up service in the spring we will check and prime the mainline, test controller operation, identify needed repairs or leaks, check operation of each zone and sprinkler head, and calibrate the rain sensor and run timer. In short, we will get your system up and running properly. As spring turns to summer, we offer regular maintenance including checking the controller, checking for system leaks, cleaning out overgrowth around heads, ensuring rotors are turning properly, and/or leveling heads and diagnosing system repairs. Then as the fall and winter approach, we offer blowouts and winterization so that your irrigation system is ready for the harsh New England weather.

SEEDING

For homeowners that have a fairly healthy existing lawn, overseeding can help fill in areas that have seen damage from pests or lack of water. Overseeding established lawns is part of a comprehensive plan to maintain a healthy lawn

AERATION

Lawn aeration involves perforating the soil with small holes to allow air, water and nutrients to penetrate down to the grassroots. This service should completed regularly especially for lawns that have heavy traffic and compaction or poor drainage is a problem.

FERTILIZATION

Fertilizing a lawn is one of the critical steps in gaining and maintaining a healthy green lawn. Green Lawn can evaluate your grass, soil and drainage to determine the proper amount and timing for fertilization for your lawn.

HYDROSEEDING

Hydroseeding is a fast and effective way to create the lush green lawn that you desire. This seeding process uses a slurry of seed and mulch that is sprayed directly onto a lawn. This method is often used as an erosion control technique and is preferred easy application process and for fast growth. Many homeowners choose this method over the expense of sod or the time consuming process of rotary seeding.
